Jared buckled and let us get a real tree! It is so pretty with all our tacky ornaments on it.

Ellie wanted to help... so she tasted all the ornaments to make sure they were ready to hang.

Ellie's Sphaghetti Adventure

Ellie decided one night she wouldn't be fed anymore. She wanted to do it herself so,... I let her.... on spaghetti night. This is the aftermath:

"I've got it where?... Oh, in my hair."

"What are you lookin' at?"

"Ok, I am definately done."

Ellie was the cutes little pumpkin... she loved her costume and wanted to where the hat to bed.

The Trick or Treat Gang... they were die hard... we loaded them all in the van and drove throught the sleet and rain to "get them some candy". Then we gave up and came home to watch halloween specials, eat the candy, and the rain finally cleared up... wha, wha, wha!!!! Still a really fun time.

This is what happens to brody at bedtime (not just on halloween)... He becomes a bloodsucking monster.

Broken Thumb... what a worl' what a worl'!

So, if you know me well, you know I am not known for my gracefulness... but I have really outdone myself this time: while on a jog I tripped on a seam in the concrete and went down straight on the tip of my thumb breaking it in 3 places at the first joint, several hairline fractures at the second and also sprained at the base of the thumb... ugh! So now I have a deformed digit and will probably need to have a pin inserted in it so it will heal correctly. No fun.

So ridiculous!

Brody and Ellie's Birthday Bash!

The only thing we don't have to bribe him to eat... cake! It's amazing he's made it to 4!

This was a fiasco... Brody spit out the candles and then tried to wipe it clean. Not the most appetizing thing to do.

Brody's favorite present... the Color Changers! He has been obsessed ever since (fun in the bath tub until he dumps the ice water on his sister or mom)


Overall the party was great fun and very chaotic!

New Place!

So we are all moved over to the new place as of Sunday night. It is so nice to have our own space and be closer to town, etc. We love our new little neighborhood with the jogging path and hidden playgrounds and our big backyard with the swingset. Becca and Marc came for the first time yesterday for Pizza night and their whole family fit nicely in the hammock. So much fun. John and Ronni, we can't wait for you guys to come and stay with us on the way to Idaho. I will post pics soon. We haven't gotten our internet up and running yet so I am on the folks computer. Anyhoo, anyone who comes into Utah is welcome to stay with us!

Got a job finally!!!!... moving out of the basement!!!

So, by now, I am sure everyone knows Jared got a job with Wadsworth Bros Construction. His official job title is Environmental control superintendant/ field engineer. He just got a nice new chevy truck and he is enjoying going to work everyday. We just found a cute little 3 bedroom 2 bath home in springville with a huge fenced yard to rent and we are moving out of mom and dad's basement on the 1st of October!
That will be a big weekend because Ellie turns 1 on Sept 29th and Brody turns 4 on the 1st... so we are having a party for them on Friday and have invited anyone in the family that could possibly come to Grandma and Grandpa Wells' house at 4pm... Then we are moving either that night or Saturday morning. We haven't decided yet. Anyhoo, lots to do... I keep saying I am done canning then I get sucked back into it. It's impossible not to when you live here (poor Mom!). So today I picked pole beans for 2 hrs and will be snapping them all night no doubt! At least I will have plenty of food storage this winter and you all know what you are getting for christmas. Well that is all for now!

Random goings-on

So we are still at Grandma and Granpa Wells' house. It feels as if we will never stop being house guests!!! We are still waiting on a few job leads and hope they will come through soon! In the meantime we are puting up everything that gets ripe in the garden...including over 60 jars of salsa so far and some assorted peaches, jams, and pasta sauce. The canning is keeping me sane right now thankfully.
