Christmas is almost here!!!

Hello everyone, are you all ready for Christmas? I know we are. We just got back from Utah visiting Grandma and Grandpa Wells. We stayed in the basement just like old times and helped them pick out their christmas tree. We decorated the tree as Brody undecorated it. The week was really fun. The last night we were there we met Becca and Marc and Mandy and Richard at Temple Square to see the lights. The kids loved it. Jared and I drove up to the avenues to see Grandmas old house on 3rd Ave and we found out the new owners are selling it! So many memories in that house.. it's sad that Grandma doesn't still live there. Anyway, we made it home even with the awful road conditions. I was relieved to get back to Rexburg even though we were met with a blizzard. We can't get too comfortable at home because tonight we are going to stay for the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Chaffin so Jared can help his dad and I can sing in their Christmas program on Sunday. We'll probably stay till after Christmas. Anyway, they don't have a computer at their house so... Talk to you after we open gifts! Love you all...

Brody's Birthday

His birthday was actually two months ago but we're bringing you all up to date. The day was really fun. His cousins helped him open all his presents and play with all of them too. But the cake was not his favorite. That frosting just freaked him out.

Aunt Jen gave Brody a great haircut!

The trick to getting him to hold still was a lollipop. By the time we were done, it was completely covered with hair, as was everyone in the room. Doesn't he look happy?

Thanksgiving in California with the Miks

We drove thirteen hours in the car and all survived. It was so much fun to visit the Wells family and Mikalojicik family for Thanksgiving and Mary's 30th birthday.

Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone! This is our first attempt at a blog so here goes... We are currently freezing up here in Rexburg. Jared is doing finals, Brody is messing up the house, and Mary is following him around; making sure he doesn't ingest anymore deoderant (don't ask). We all have runny noses and are really excited about the break from school in less than a week! Three whole weeks to relax! First we will be in Utah with Mary's family and then back to Idaho for Christmas with the Chaffins. We're planning on go up to the Cabin in Island Park with the Chaffins after Christmas. That should be fun. Anyhoo that is what's up with us. I hope everyone is doing well. Happy Holidays!
