New Place!

So we are all moved over to the new place as of Sunday night. It is so nice to have our own space and be closer to town, etc. We love our new little neighborhood with the jogging path and hidden playgrounds and our big backyard with the swingset. Becca and Marc came for the first time yesterday for Pizza night and their whole family fit nicely in the hammock. So much fun. John and Ronni, we can't wait for you guys to come and stay with us on the way to Idaho. I will post pics soon. We haven't gotten our internet up and running yet so I am on the folks computer. Anyhoo, anyone who comes into Utah is welcome to stay with us!

Got a job finally!!!!... moving out of the basement!!!

So, by now, I am sure everyone knows Jared got a job with Wadsworth Bros Construction. His official job title is Environmental control superintendant/ field engineer. He just got a nice new chevy truck and he is enjoying going to work everyday. We just found a cute little 3 bedroom 2 bath home in springville with a huge fenced yard to rent and we are moving out of mom and dad's basement on the 1st of October!
That will be a big weekend because Ellie turns 1 on Sept 29th and Brody turns 4 on the 1st... so we are having a party for them on Friday and have invited anyone in the family that could possibly come to Grandma and Grandpa Wells' house at 4pm... Then we are moving either that night or Saturday morning. We haven't decided yet. Anyhoo, lots to do... I keep saying I am done canning then I get sucked back into it. It's impossible not to when you live here (poor Mom!). So today I picked pole beans for 2 hrs and will be snapping them all night no doubt! At least I will have plenty of food storage this winter and you all know what you are getting for christmas. Well that is all for now!

Random goings-on

So we are still at Grandma and Granpa Wells' house. It feels as if we will never stop being house guests!!! We are still waiting on a few job leads and hope they will come through soon! In the meantime we are puting up everything that gets ripe in the garden...including over 60 jars of salsa so far and some assorted peaches, jams, and pasta sauce. The canning is keeping me sane right now thankfully.

Still alive and well at Grandma and Grandpa Wells'

Well, we are still waiting to hear from Kiewit about a possible job opening that Jared interviewed for. It has been an anxious few months here in Utah. We are enjoying the being done with school but obviously are anxious to be in our own place and Jared to be working. In the meantime Dad and mom are keeping Jared busy with the promotion of the gardening book and odd jobs here and there around the house. We are very grateful to be at their house while we wait.
